If you’re short on space and need an easy way to minimise your clutter, and maximise your floor space, then our Divan bed is just what you need. The divan base is a brilliantly easy way to add some much-needed storage to any bedroom. Comfortable and practical, this bed base is a standard 40 cm height (including the bed feet) that gives you plenty of space to store extra pillows, linens, clothes, and even assorted clutter from around the house. We can also build beds with a 30 cm base if you need a slightly shorter height. If you need a divan bed that’s ready to go, the divan bed set package comes with our super comfy evolve mattress is a great option. While the added storage is a lifesaver for smaller bedrooms, or homes that are lacking in the storage department, you won’t have to cut back on style with our divan bed frame. With modern chrome feet, and chrome gilding on the base add a discreet touch to the overall look. There are dozens of different fabric swatches to choose from so you can get the perfect design to suit your bedroom. The customisation doesn’t end there! We have four different drawer options that let tailor your storage solution to suit your needs.
One of our bespoke designed headboards can be fixed to either side of the divan base, so your two drawers can appear on whichever side you like, so you can make the most out of your space. So if you need a way to keep your bedroom free of unwanted bits and bobs, but still want some floor space, then our divan beds are perfect for you. Assembly details:
Divan Base FAQS Does this come in one or two parts? All our small single and single divan bases are delivered in one part; all other sizes are delivered in two separate parts that need to be slotted together. How do I fit a headboard to this divan? All our divan bases come with headboard fixing bolts. Does this divan have a platform top or sprung edge? All our divan bases have solid platform edges. We often use spring topped bases if a customer requires it however normal solid platform bases are more popular. What headboard matches this divan base in colour and fabric? Delivery Information
Nimbus Beds operate a very simple and straightforward delivery system. This is to ensure you have the best experience from start to finish. Please refer to the information below for any queries regarding the delivery process.
Whilst we will do our best to fulfill specific delivery date requests there is no guarantee we will be able to.
Please note that delivery costs are non-refundable for any reason. Adverse weather conditions may delay your delivery however we will always keep you informed and where necessary rebook accordingly.
Our delivery teams can deliver throughout mainland UK. However, there are certain areas which are currently excluded from our delivery coverage.
Delivery Costs
- Doorstep Drop Off - Our delivery team will deliver your products to your doorstep and let you handle the rest. Great if you have already created space for your new bed and mattress and have the muscle power to maneuver it to where it needs to go.
- Assembly - Our delivery team will deliver and assemble your new bed / mattress exactly where you want it to go in your house! Got an awkward set of stairs to go up? No problem for our delivery crew.
- Assembly & Old Item Removal - One of the biggest challenges when buying a new bed or mattress is what to do with the old one! Let us handle that, we'll not only assemble your new bed or mattress exactly where you want it but also remove the old item (1 per order, extra removal charged at additional rates)

Delivery Bookings
Once you have made your purchase online and our sleep experts have processed your order you will be allocated a delivery date. Your delivery date will be arranged over the phone closer to your delivery week.
Please ensure you give us your contact number, ideally a mobile if you have one. Delivery time slots available are:
Monday to Saturday – 9-1pm or 1-5pm, depending on your location.

Deliveries to England and Northern Ireland can have longer lead times. If you have ordered online or from telesales please call us Free on 01592 381673.
However, if you have ordered from a store, please contact them using the telephone number on your invoice.

Please Note: If someone is not available In the delivery address during the times arranged, there will be a failed delivery charge of £25. A redelivery charge will be as standard £25.
